The role of vitamin E
Vitamin E has an antioxidative effect thus helps protect the cells of your body against external influences, such as air pollution and sunlight.
Recommended Daily Allowance
As an adult, you need 8-10 mg* vitamin E per day.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, the recommended amounts are 10 mg and 11 mg vitamin E per day respectively.
The maximum safe dose of vitamin E is 300 mg per day.
